Overview

A revered house on the top of a mountain in Isfahan, three farsakhs from Isfahan. Al-Mas'udi relates that it contained idols which the king Yastasf brought out when he became a Magian, and that he made it his fire temple. 2

He mentions that it remained revered among the Magians up to his time, and he counts it among the revered houses built after the names of the stars. 2
