Overview
The Palace of al-Nu'man is a palace in Basra, which belonged to al-Nu'man ibn Suhban al-Rasibi, who judged between Mudar and Rabi'a when Yazid ibn Mu'awiya died. 1
The addition and the report
Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad added to it. The source relays al-Nu'man's saying that this is bad wealth: if the water is abundant it drowns its owner, and if it is scarce he thirsts. Then the water became scarce, and everyone who was there died, according to the report. 1
