Overview

Qus is a city in Upper Egypt on the bank of the Nile, on the caravan road to Aydhab. Ibn Battuta and Ibn Jubayr mentioned it on their way to the Hijaz. ¹

An additional source is needed: the coordinates come from GeoNames for a modern place bearing the same name, and matching it with the ancient site has not been verified.
