Overview
Rusafat Hisham is in the districts of al-Raqqa, founded by Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik. Before it, he used to stay at al-Zaytuna. He dug al-Hani and al-Mari, and founded in it the Wasit of al-Raqqa. Then it was confiscated at the beginning of the Abbasid state, and it became the property of Umm Ja'far Zubayda bint Ja'far ibn al-Mansur, who built in it the estate (qati'a) attributed to her. 1
