Overview
Sabalan is a great mountain in Azerbaijan, inhabited by the Kurds of Sabalan. Al-Baladhuri mentions that the peace treaty of Hudhayfa stipulated that the Kurds of al-Balasajan, Sabalan and Satrudhan should not be molested. 1
