Overview
Al-Saymara is a city in Mihrajan Qadhaf. Al-Baladhuri mentions that al-Sa'ib ibn al-Aqra', envoy of Abu Musa, conquered it by treaty. The treaty included the preservation of blood, the abandonment of captivity and the pardon of gold and silver (al-safra' wa-l-bayda'), and it was set on the terms of the poll-tax (jizya) and the land tax (kharaj). 1
