Overview
Tarir is a town in Azerbaijan. It was a village with an old, dilapidated palace. Mu'awiya ibn Amr al-Mawsili al-Ta'i settled there, built, and housed his son in it. His sons built palaces in it and made it a city, and built the market of Bajarwan and enlarged it. The sultan set it apart for them, so they took charge of it without the officials of Azerbaijan. 1
