Overview

The four rightly guided caliphs were Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may God be pleased with him), Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him), Uthman ibn Affan (may God be pleased with him) and Ali ibn Abi Talib (may God be pleased with him). They ruled from Medina from 632 to 661. 1
