A book by al-Mas'udi devoted to the difference between the Mu'tazila and the people of the imamate, and to what set each group apart from the other on the question of the imamate. ²

Al-Mas'udi mentions it in "Muruj al-Dhahab" and says that he chose it for himself. ²
