Overview
"Shadharat al-Dhahab" reports that in 934 AH Imam Ahmad, known as al-Jarad (the Locust), took the city of Harar in the land of Abyssinia. 1
The conquest
The power of Harar weakened and could not resist him, and Imam Ahmad's standing kept growing. He conquered many lands of Abyssinia and persisted in jihad and raiding. 1
The author adds that it was said his conquests resembled only those of the Companions. This description is attributed to the "Shadharat", not to the museum. 1
