Overview

Abbada was the mother of Ja'far ibn Yahya al-Barmaki. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Hashimi saw her at his mother's house on the day of Eid al-Nahr, in shabby clothes, speaking boldly about what had befallen her household after the fall of the Barmakids. 2
