Overview
Ghalib ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Nasir, a client of al-Hakam al-Mustansir and lord of the city of Salim. Al-Maqqari reports that he helped Ibn Abi Amir to kill al-Mughira, brother of al-Hakam, on the day of the allegiance to Hisham al-Mu'ayyad. Ibn Abi Amir later sought his help in the downfall of al-Mushafi. Then Ibn Abi Amir sought the help of Ja'far ibn Ali ibn Hamdun against him, and he displaced him, in a sequence of displacements of the state's supporters. 1
