Overview

Hassan al-Nabati, a client of the Banu Dabba. The Basra pool known as Hawd Hassan is attributed to him, and the minaret of Hassan in al-Bata'ih is attributed to him too. 1

Al-Baladhuri reports that he reclaimed lands from the marshlands of al-Bata'ih for al-Hajjaj in the days of al-Walid, and that he did the same for Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik. 1

The years of his birth and death are not recorded in the museum's data, and need an additional source.
