Overview

Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Musab, the official in charge of the Sawad for al-Mutawakkil. Al-Baladhuri says that when he was appointed he added the springs of al-Taff to what he held, took charge of their tithe, and made it a Sawadi tenure, which it remained until al-Baladhuri's time. 1

He extracted Islamic springs and ran them in the course of the springs of al-Taff, in terms of the lands they irrigated. 1
