Her stand at Ta'if

Ibn Ishaq relates that Khuwayla bint Hakim was with the Muslims at the siege of Ta'if and said: "Messenger of God, if God opens Ta'if for you, give me the ornaments of Badiya bint Ghaylan ibn Salama, or the ornaments of al-Fari'a bint Aqil" — the two being among Thaqif's wealthiest women. The Prophet answered her gently, signifying that its conquest had not then been decreed 1.
