An embassy to Medina

He came to Medina as an envoy of the Ahlaf, asking for the alliance of the Ansar against the Banu Malik in the war of the two clans of Thaqif. 2

Uhayha ibn al-Jullah turned him back with advice to the effect that his brother, whom he had left behind, should be reconciled with, even if it meant slitting their noses and ears. He gave him a boy who built fortifications. 2

He built a fortification for them at al-Ta'if, the first fortification that they built there. No significant war took place between them after that. 2
