Overview
Mu'nis al-Muzaffar, a military commander of the Abbasid state. He left Mosul in Shawwal 320 AH heading for Baghdad, and the encounter took place at al-Shammasiyya, where the caliph al-Muqtadir was killed. 1
Al-Tabari says that Mu'nis was greatly distressed when the body was carried to him. 2
The data do not record his birth or death, nor his other reports, and need an additional source.
