Overview
Subkari al-Saffari, a Saffarid commander. Ibn al-Athir reports that he marched through the desert from Fars to Sistan in the year 298 AH. A Samanid army met him when his troops had been destroyed by exhaustion. They took him prisoner, seized his army, and he was carried to Baghdad 2.
