Overview

Tha'laba ibn Salama al-Judhami, amir of al-Andalus after the death of Balj ibn Bishr. The Fihrites broke away from him and did not obey him 2.

al-Maqqari reports that he governed for two years in which he showed justice, and al-Andalus submitted to him for ten months. Then tribal partisanship inclined him toward his Yemeni side, and his affairs were corrupted. He then went back to the East, joined Marwan ibn Muhammad, and attended his wars 2.
