Overview

Sahab Island is an island so named because a white cloud appears above it. From the cloud comes a tongue of wind that adheres to the water and whirls like a whirlwind, and then the cloud rains down with sea debris (qadha). It lies four days from the island of al-Mawjih, according to al-Idrisi. 2
