القدرية، بحسب وصف الكتاب، يزعمون أن إليهم الاستطاعة والمشيئة والقدرة، وأنهم يملكون أفعالهم من خير وشر، وأن العباد يعلمون أفعالهم من غير سبق علم الله بها ¹. يرى الكتاب أن قولهم يشبه قول المجوس والنصارى، وأنه أصل الزندقة ¹.
