أحمد بن عبد الله السلمي، لقبه شهاب الدين ونسبته الأصابي، عالم من زبيد في اليمن. نسبته إلى ذي أصاب قرب زبيد، ودرس علومه في زبيد على الشيخ عبد الله المزجاجي. 1
تذكر الموسوعة أنه كان حياً سنة 1118هـ (1706م). ويحتاج تاريخ ولادته ووفاته وآثاره إلى مصدر إضافي.
