Idris ibn Abdallah, brother of Muhammad and Ibrahim, the sons of Abdallah ibn al-Hasan. He went to the Maghrib, where a multitude of people answered his call, and his son Idris ibn Idris succeeded him. 2

In al-Mas'udi

He went to the Maghrib after his brothers were separated from him. Al-Mansur sent someone who poisoned him, in the cities of the Maghrib he held. His son Idris ibn Idris took his place, and the land became known by them; it was said "the land of Idris ibn Idris". 2

In Ibn Khaldun

Ibn Khaldun relates that he fled to the Maghrib after the day of Fakh, in which Husayn ibn Ali (may God be pleased with him) ibn al-Hasan al-Muthallath was killed in 169 AH. He alighted at Walila in 172 AH, whose ruler at the time was Abu Layla Ishaq ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamid, and he gave him protection. He gathered the Berbers to his call, they swore allegiance to him, and his rule in the Maghrib was established. 3
