Overview
Isa ibn Yazid al-Aswad, a client of the Arabs, whom Ibn Khaldun describes as one of the leaders of the Kharijites. 1
Sijilmasa
About forty men of Meknes gathered around him, appointed him over them, and broke their obedience to the caliphs. They built the city of Sijilmasa in 140 AH, and all of Meknes entered their Safri doctrine. 1
His last days
Then they became angry with their amir and held many of his conduct against him. They bound him and put him on the top of a mountain until he died in 155 AH. 1
The conversion to the Gregorian calendar is derived, and no page number is given in the data; it needs an additional source. Note: the data classify his creed as Ibadi, while Ibn Khaldun says Safri; this needs review.
