Abu al-Husayn Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Qushayri al-Nisaburi, a scholar of hadith and jurisprudence. Ibn al-Nadim lists books by him, among them the Sahih, al-Asma' wa al-Kuna, al-Awhad, al-Mufrad, al-Tarikh and al-Tabaqat. ²
