Overview

Shu'ayb ibn Mihdam, a prophet whom God sent to the Banu Hadhura. He is not Shu'ayb of Madyan, and there were hundreds of years between them, according to al-Mas'udi. His people's disbelief grew intense while he called them and warned them, and they killed him after miracles had appeared to him. al-Mas'udi reports that God did not let his blood go unavenged, and avenged him at the hand of Bukhtnasr 2.

Notes for researchers

  • The entire account comes from al-Mas'udi alone. It needs an additional source.
