Overview

A valley that Ibn Ishaq calls "the belly of Idam". The Prophet sent a group of Muslims there, among them Abu Qatada and Muhallam ibn Jathama, and in it Amir ibn al-Adbat al-Ashja'i was killed. See the raid of Ibn Abi Hadrad on the belly of Idam. 1

Notes on the report

  • Its location according to the geographers (a valley into which what lies between the two sanctuaries drains) is not read here, and no coordinates are given for it (needs a source).
