Overview

Khaffan is a place that Al-Baladhuri mentions in "Futuh al-Buldan". Al-Muthanna ibn Haritha stopped in it after the covenant of Abu Bakr, and called his people to Islam, and they became Muslims. Then Khalid ibn al-Walid stopped in it on his march to al-Hira. 1 2
