Al-Harith ibn Abd al-Uzza
الحارث بن عبد العزى
Of the Banu Sa'd of Hawazin, husband of Halima, the Prophet's wet-nurse, with the kunya Abu Dhu'ayb. Ibn Ishaq reports that he accepted Islam after hearing of his foster-son's teaching on resurrection; the time of his conversion and whether the story belongs to him or to his child are disputed.

روى ابن إسحاق عن رجال من بني سعد بن بكر أن الحارث قدم مكة فقالت له قريش: ألا تسمع ما يقول ابنك؟ إن الناس يبعثون بعد الموت، فسأل النبي عن ذلك فقال: «نعم»، وأخبره أنه لو كان ذلك اليوم لأخذ بيده حتى يعرّفه حديثه اليوم. فأسلم الحارث بعد ذلك وحسن إسلامه 1.
