Overview

Nafi ibn al-Azraq, a leader of the Kharijites. After the split, the Kharijites gathered around him in Basra, and he led them to al-Ahwaz. 1

What al-Khudari attributes to him

al-Khudari attributes to him the view that those who sit out fighting are unbelievers, and the view that children may be killed. 1

The book describes the gentleness of his outward conduct and the goodness of his company, and notes that this appeared in him after the Kharijites had been of one opinion. 1

The book reports these doctrines from him; the museum does not endorse them. The data contain no other source; an additional source is needed.
