Tashfin ibn Ali ibn Yusuf ibn Tashfin, the last vigorous Almoravid amir; he fought Abd al-Mu'min and the Almohads stubbornly until besieged at Tlemcen, fled to Oran where the Almohads stormed the town and he perished in 541 AH.

Overview
Tashfin ibn Ali ibn Yusuf ibn Tashfin, son of Ali ibn Yusuf and the last of the strong Almoravid amirs 1.
Against the Almohads
He fought Abd al-Mu'min and the Almohads very fiercely, until they besieged him at Tlemcen. He fled to Oran, and the Almohads followed him and stormed the town. He died in the year 541 AH (1145 CE) 1.
