Overview
Yarjukh al-Turki, a Turkish commander. He was in the ambush of Bayikbal against the caliph al-Muhtadi at Samarra 1.
The report
al-Mas'udi reports that when Bayikbal was exposed, the ambush came out. al-Muhtadi and his companions fled, and he entered Samarra seeking help from the common people. Then he was carried to the house of Yarjukh. Yarjukh and Musa ibn Bugha did not take part in the Turks' killing of him 1.
