Overview
Badr al-Din Abu al-Baqa Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Shakir, known as Ibn al-Ju'an al-Dimyati, a Shafi'i judge of Damietta origin. The encyclopaedia says he was among the outstanding scholars and was known for his generosity and good works. He died in 902 AH (1496 CE). 1
