The Kahlani tribe whose Nasr ibn Rabiʾa founded the line of al-Hira’s kings — the Manadhira — ruling as Persia’s Arab wardens from Amr ibn Adi to the last al-Mundhir in 632.

Overview
Lakhm: the Kahlan clan from which came the house of the Manadhira, kings of al-Hira and Persia's governors over the Arabs of the desert.
Life
Among the Lakhmis was Nasr ibn Rabi'a, father of the Manadhira kings at al-Hira 1.
After Jadhima's reign Sabur appointed over al-Hira Amr ibn Adi al-Lakhmi, and kingship ran in their house over Iraq's Arabs for centuries, serving Persia as a barrier against desert raids and a counterweight to Syria's Arabs, the Byzantines' auxiliaries 2.
